A body is found on the greensward, an elephant ridden by a man in a santa costume parades along the beach, an inventor fries himself in a kebab rotisserie while a woman with the perfect figure is verging on ice cream dependent.

Such are the people helping solve murders and mysteries in Frintwich, a coastal town of class, customs and contradictions. Aiding and abetting a newly promoted detective, his loyal sergeant and the gargantua of the forensic team, they inevitably dig down to the truth.

To me, poems are about life strip backed to its essence and how we manage or fail to manage its affect on us.

They can be about how we interact with other people and how we cope with ourselves, our feelings or even our creativity.

Sharing them is an opportunity to connect with others who may have the same experiences or frustrations.
