
My ambition for you is that whenever you pick up a pen or turn to your keyboard, you forget you are writing and let the ideas flow, let characters come alive in your head and on the paper.
This is not for those accomplished writers with novels to spare. This for those beginning the journey into the glorious world of capturing your imagination in a way other people can enjoy. It’s the first steps in self belief because everyone can write, I have proved it in the classroom with teenagers and with adults.

Plenty here for the absolute beginner. No heavy stuff about spelling, punctuation and grammar, merely help to get ideas on to the page and then get your bigger ideas on to the page.

Basic tips when you are confident with your writing and want to progress. Nothing here about formulas and plot structure, just information I would have found useful on my journey.

It starts with completing just one sentence. moving up to 50 then 100 words. You try out genres and emotions, fact and fiction, before going for the big one.
It wont teach you to write, it will give you the confidence to express your ideas, the ones lurking in your imagination that never thought they’d escape.
